This guide explains how to use the Hooked Elements<\/strong> feature in Kadence Theme Kit Pro<\/strong> to replace the sidebar content for posts within specific categories or taxonomies. If you aren\u2019t familiar with Kadence Elements, refer to our document on\u00a0How to Use Element Hooks<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note<\/strong>: Make sure that your Posts are using a Sidebar Layout. Go to the Kadence Theme’s Customize > Posts\/Pages Layout > Single Post Layout<\/em> settings to confirm that. If they’re not using a sidebar layout, the element will not replace anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create a New Hooked Element<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance \u2192 Kadence \u2192 Elements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click Add New<\/em> and select Element Type: Template<\/strong> or Content Section<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Give your new element a descriptive name, such as Custom Sidebar for Category X and Tag X.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    You can add blocks to compose the intended sidebar content for the posts under a specific group(s). Format and style the content to match your design preferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. In the Element Settings<\/strong> panel, locate Placement Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Under Placement<\/strong>, select Replace Sidebar<\/strong>. This ensures that your element replaces the default sidebar area on the designated posts.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
