Once you’ve built your slider, it’s time to assign it a place on your site.
The simplest option is to place the shortcode into your page content wherever you would like it to show. You can use a shortcode block if you are in the block editor. Here is an example of what a shortcode would look like:
If you are wanting to display a slider through a widget area then you can do so by adding the shortcode option above, just use a text or custom html widget and place the shortcode in the widget area.
If you are using a Premium Kadence Theme and you would like to add to the top of your home page this is also an option through the theme options > home slider. From there choose a home image slider and select Kadence Slider Pro. Then select the slider you want shown on your homepage.
Premium Kadence Themes also offer the option to place sliders at the top of pages using the “Feature” Page template. Choose the template and click “save draft”, right after the content area you will see meta fields where you can add a custom shortcode.
If you need to place a slider into a php template file in your custom child theme you can using the following method.
<?php echo do_shortcode('[kadence_slider_pro id="1"]'); ?>
