Adding more text and an icon with in overlay for Portfolio, Gallery or Overlay

Hi,

I’m trying to display a gallery style of blocks (6 in total) for our folio. I’d like to hover over each one to see the title, caption (must be 2 to 3 sentences) and if possible an icon (I know that may be pushing it). If they have a lightbox, I’d like to display a short paragraph of text in a box to the side of the image with a title with the title and a link (optional icon). Is that possible?

The image overlay works okay but I can’t think how an icon could be added to overlay. The Gallery layout and responsive nature is nice but it doesn’t allow for a text box in lightbox or icon. The portfolio could be ideal but I can’t get it to load my gallery (image of settings attached – am I doing something wrong).

What would be the best block for this purpose and if it has a lightbox – if a textbox to the left of image with title and paragraph of text can be added?
