I tried adding the Google Analytics code into the head.php file, as suggested by Google – but that doesn’t seem to work, as Google is saying it isn’t there. Do you know where to paste this code?

As well, the same thing is happening with the Google+ code/ID. It doesn’t seem to register with Google when placed into the social media widget. Any thoughts?
