Image + Summary on Frontpage/Blog Page

I am having a bit of a problem trying to find a way to have my existing posts with an image + summary on the frontpage and on the blog page. At the moment only the summary shows.

I have created a separate site to test this theme before I switch off the one in place at the moment. I have imported all the content from my main site.

I have to say that on most posts I have only one image.

Am I missing any step?

and the main site, with the theme about to be switched off as soon as I master Virtue Premiumm is @ http://www.jpires.org.

This issue might have an obvious solution but I am really stuck.
