From all-new live learning opportunities to artificial intelligence, there’s something new and on-trend for everyone who uses WordPress this month. This roundup is packed with new tools and tips for adapting to changes in the digital marketing landscape.

Here are 5 new WordPress resources to explore:

1. How to Adapt to Facebook’s Fundraising Changes

Everyone running a nonprofit website is likely aware of some big changes by Meta that can impact donations. If you are using these tools, you probably already have an email, and you must take action if you want to continue getting donations through the platform. These changes began at the end of October. Learn more here.

The biggest change is to payment processing. Payments have gone through Meta in the past but will move to PayPal for accounts in the US, UK, CA, and AU. This requires a new account connection and can impact payouts. Meta will also discontinue providing transaction reports and donation receipts.

Additionally, Meta already stopped supporting recurring donations and campaigns, as well as waived transaction fees.

So, what does all of this mean for you?

Unless a huge portion of your revenue is coming from Meta – for most nonprofits, the number is generally minimal – this is a renewed opportunity to send donors and potential donors to your actual website to make donations. That way, you can control the experience, provide documentation, and have consistent reporting at your fingertips. (If you don’t have online giving enabled on your nonprofit website, now is the time to look at GiveWP.)

2. Improve Your Guest Checkout Process

Guest checkout is a must-have for every e-commerce website. Here’s the top reason you need to add this feature: It can actually help increase conversion rates!

Shoppers like quick and efficient checkout processes, and adding guest checkout is an easy way to facilitate that.

One tool that can help you add this feature with ease is Flux Checkout, a WooCommerce plugin that creates a slick and effective checkout form process for shoppers. It works with your existing WordPress theme and WooCommerce, making it easy to install. Then, you can change key elements, including the header text, colors, and other design elements.

Most importantly, you can use this tool to add a guest checkout option to your website. With Flux Checkout, you just have to install the plugin and click the box to enable guest checkout. (No developer required!)

3. WordPress Vulnerability Report

You need to keep up with WordPress issues to help keep your site safe and running smoothly. The WordPress Vulnerability Report shows all of the core issues that might pop up if you aren’t on the latest version of WordPress, as well as vulnerabilities with plugins.

There were some WordPress core updates recently that impacted major plugins. It is important to ensure that you are on the latest version of WordPress because many of these have been fixed.

Did you know one of the best things you can do to prevent these vulnerabilities on your website is to keep plugins up to date?

Some things to be on the lookout for in the latest report include vulnerabilities with these popular plugins: Popup Builder, Schema App Structured Data, WP Captcha, WP GPX Maps, and more.

4. Welcome to Solid Academy
