Question regarding Updating Virtue theme

I am updating to the newest version the premium Virtue theme and got the message to insert an api key. I found my key when I logged in. My question is:
what happens if I activate it? Will all my settings (fonts, colours, header) from the older Virtue theme disappear (it took me ages to build the website so am obviously concerned) and I have to start from scratch again??
I’d be grateful if you can let me know.
