move the logo in the Topbar

Hi Ben!
I would like to move the logo within the topbar, centered (using a smaller size). I thought of simply using an image widget in the topbar, don’t know if this is correct as I would like to hide/delete the space used by the logo.

I just want to move the current logo within the red topbar and hide all that white space around the current logo position.
