Cursor pointer for variable product

Hi,
could you please let me know how I can change the cursor property for selecting a variable product with the radio buttons? When you hover over the attribute button, it should become a pointer.
Also, I noticed that sometimes it can take quite long(2 seconds or so) for a variable product photo to change…is this normal?
