Kadence Slider error

I’ve noticed I get an error message when I go to try to update my plugins. It shows that I have 1 update but when I click the icon it goes to a white screen that shows this message:
Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas09_data03/75/3178875/html/wp-content/plugins/kadence-slider/wp-updates-plugin.php on line 236
The weird thing is when I reload the page the dashboard shows up as usual – but the update notification is gone. This seems to have started around the time of the last Kadence slider update.
Is there an issue with that plugin? My website URL is *Login to see link
