Checkout woocommerce error messages

Hi,
I was wondering if you know of any way to change the woocommerce error messages that pop up when a customer does not fill in the rquired fields. by default, it will list every field and show a message “…is a required field. …is a required field”. I would love to either just have ONE sentence “Please fill in the rquired field”(or fields if it is more than one), or at least change the names of the fields(they are badly translated in my language). I could not find any strings for these in the woocommerce po file.
