Ok here’s another one about the site Avatar… first off I am a little confused because I think that there are potentially 2 possible site Avatars? …one for WordPress and one for WooCommerce? Not really sure…

I have recently implemented bbPress into my site and for the most part it seems to be performing well. I want to make it easy to do the following things:

Know that the user is logged in by displaying “My Account”
Have access to “My Profile” which I’m assuming is the woocommerce /my-account/ link?
Have the ability to upload a custom avatar from their photos (not gravatar)… most people will give up on the whole gravatar thing as it’s too involved IMO

When I first used /my-account/ for sign-in and register, it was not allowing users to choose a username so I switched to Is this safe?

I guess I am still confused as to which systems take control over which site features? WordPress for some and WooCommerce for others? which system is bbPress better or more closely hooked into “profile” wise?

The main goal here is to make signing up and using the site for both creating product orders AND using the forum EASY.

Thanks!!!
