Top Bar Icon/Text Color

I changed the color of the top bar to white, and now nothing appears in the top bar (I assume because the text and icons default to white). Where can I change the color of the text and icons in the top bar? Also, how can I create a border below the header so when I use the sticky header their is a clear dividing line between the header and the page content that will scroll under it? Thanks!
