I want catalog images to be rectangular rather than square.

Hi

as you see the few images i have added, they are being cropped and some of the image is being cut off from the top and bottom.
most of my images are rectangular so i would like them to show as such.
i have been to woocommerce > settings > products > display and tried changing from there and then regenerating thumbnails but it doesnt seem to be working.
same thing is happening to product images.
please help.
