Hi,

Recently I updated to woocommerce 2.6 (was running 2.5 before). Unfortunately, the update caused a 3rd party plugin to malfunction. This particular plugin makes it easy to manage the checkout process into multiple steps. Upon updating, the content within each step is suddenly not being displayed. I had the plugin author look at the issue, and he informed me, that there may be a problem with “nested form elements”, whatever that means.

Here’s what he wrote:

Hi,

I have had a look at your website, and have not managed to find out what is causing the problem, but i have found out something that may be causing the issue with the checkout not displaying correctly.

I have disabled both “JC WooCommerce Checkout Donation” and “JC WooCommerce Multipage Checkout” to test something, and noticed that you have nested form elements on your checkout (nesting highlighted in red below, form nesting can cause issues when the data is submitted and might not work in old browsers such as internet explorer):

This is causing issues with the multistep checkout and causes nothing to show in the tabs. Once you have this form nesting sorted, if the plugin issues still are happening let me know and i will do my best to investigate further.

Thanks
James

Would you be able to help me with this “form nesting issue” or should I ask elsewhere?

Thank you for your time and the best WP themes out there!
