I need to link my Kadence Slider background image.

Hello,
I am using Virtue Premium theme.
I have added some background images for Kadence-slider pro. But it does not give any option to link it to a page on clicking it. How do I do it ?
If I try to add the same as an image in the slide , the size of the image is not covering up the entire slider. Even if I choose any options like Cover/Contain or Auto.
If I try to resize using the slider option Image heightt/Width , the image still does not fit. It shows as it is fit in the slider , but again leaves some gap in the sides.
