Overlay Image with Amazon's "Read Inside" link needed

Hello,
I am using the theme for my publishing company.
Right now when clicking the main product image I get a pop up of the bigger image which does not give any benefits to the visitor.
I would like to:
1. place a transparent image (already created) “READ INSIDE” or similar to be placed above the product image
2. when user clicks on the product image CSS maximized frame/window will pop up
3. the pop up windows should show the following content: showbooksdetail.com/no=ISBN – ISBN should be replaced by the ISBN in the stored meta data (I should be able to handle that)
Can you help me please.
