Virtue: Recent Posts design change, first post content line

Hello,

I want to change “Virtue: Recent Posts”. I want to have date on top, but I think I can figure this with custom css out by myself. But what I don’t know, if I am also able to show not only the post title in the recent posts widget (as it is default), but also the first line out of the post. Or better say, so much out of first line of the post which fit a line in the recent News.

There are extra plugins out there, but I hope I can manage it with virtue and few customizing itself.

Any Idea how customize this?

Please tell my if you need a link to a recent news example which this have.
