testimonial options

I see the testimonial selection on my WP dashboard however I feel that I’m missing many options with this as I can’t find a way for the customer to interact on my page and use the testimonial option to add their feedback. I’ve updated the theme and still not seeing it even though I’ve read there was a change and a new form option added for customers to use the testimonial option. Could you please help or tell me why its not working for me?
