Mosaic gallery for mobile phone

Hi guys,
I see that the mosaic gallery is not displayed on the mobile phone, which is fine considering the size of the screen.
What I dislike is that the images are cropped just like on the ‘desktop’ version but are displayed one after another.
If they are to be displayed one after another I would prefer them to have the original dimensions.
So my question is: can you have a certain gallery displayed as a normal mosaic on the desktop (computer) and as masonry gallery on the mobile phone?
If yes, how?
