double Meta Description in the Home page

Dear support,

I was checking the SEO performance of my site photoscapeart.com when I noticed that there are two meta description:

1. One generated by Yoast SEO (intended)
2. One generated by the Virtue Carousel Widget (not wanted)

Beside the fact that having two meta description does not seem to be good from a SEO stand point, #2 is undesired because it is far too long (>300 characters) and cannot control its text as it depends on the images that are being displayed.

Is there a way to prevent the the Virtue Carousel Widget adding extra meta description in the code? Any other thoughts/solutions on this matter?
