Centering custom heading

Hi,
I have tried adding a new heading style (similar to h2). I want it centered but it is flush left. How do I center a heading?

font-size: 30px;
text-align: center;
font-family: inherit;
}

2. If a person is used to general markup is it best to not use Page Builder. I find it hard making style changes.
