Kadence Slider – keeps logging me out

Hi there
I was able to create and modify a slider, but (it seems) spontaneously now every time I click Kadence Slider from the dashboard I get logged out of admin area. I log back in, click on Kadence Slider… logged out again! Everything else seems to be working. I uninstalled, then reinstalled the plugin, and the problem remains. Is there a bug? Please advise.
