Hey I know you don’t support other people’s plugins, but I’m bumping into some basic stuff which I am struggling to find in the forums.
1. I use a database application called Caspio which allows me to post shortcodes to WordPress or Embed codes (Javascript). There are a number of their features which fail and they’ve pointed to the theme as the roadbloack. I’m happy to do the work, but I don’t know where to start:
a. Listboxes turn into dropdowns
b. Updating dropdowns don’t update. In other words, I should be able to select a Company and have the next dropdown filter to just that company’s products. It does on their tool but deployed in the theme, there is no update. They use AJAX.
2. I’m having difficulty styling pseudo properties of hrefs and divs (:hover). I know where to build Typography for h1, h2, h3, etc in the theme, but I’m having difficulty, even with inline styles, getting styles to “take”.
I’d love some suggestions, even if references to other topics already answered. For some reason my searches don’t seem to be turning up the answers I need to solve these.
