How do I pad dots so they never display on slider images?

Hello,
Can I add either margin/padding to the dots under a Kadence Slider so that the dots will never display on slider images as the browser width decreases. This CSS did not work.
.kad-slider ul.kad-slider-pagination li.kad-slider-dot {
margin-top: 5px;
padding-top: 2px;
}
I have increased the height of the container from 510px to 580px (the images are 500h x 1500w), but I would prefer to modify so that there is less white space around the slider. Any advise? … for gallaghermissy1776.com … have a good weekend
