controlling text width on landing page

Hi Guys
when we are doing a simple landing page like this in virtue, what is the best practice css
to control the width of the text so it looks good on all devices?
I think there must be a css way to do it.

I have this often, where I don’t know how to control a simple centered layout for a landing page so it looks nice padding wise but then doesn’t work on mobile.
