Start up issues… Help Needed

Hi all I’m sorry if these questions have been asked before I have looked through the forum but couldn’t find anything to help with my exact problems. I transferred from the free virtue theme yesterday thinking that everything would stay the same but that hasn’t been the case my issues are:
1. The picture slider is showing above my page title on home page (I’d like to remove it completely from that page only if possible)
2. On mobile layout there is no top bar and no way to navigate past my home page I’ve tried using the option to switch it on but nothings working.
