Image Carousel

Hi there, I would like to create an image carousel like the one used in the new Magazine demo for Ascend. I want to use it to display selected products. I have created a new category and added 7 selected products to the new category (I have called it Feature).
I have set the Home Page Settings to:
Choose home page header settings: Post Carousel
Transparent Header on Home page? Default
Post Carousel Type: Products
Product Carousel Category Type: Feature (name of my new category created for this purpose)

When I test it with another previously existing category it works but when I use this new category, the carousel does not rotate and only shows 1 full image and 1 half an image and does not move. See here: Currently I have it displaying a simple kadence pro slider.
I have checked to see if there are any differences in the category setup but can’t find a solution.
Do you have any suggestions as to what could be stopping this carousel from working?
