Where do you put

HI Ben THnaks for fixing that thing earlier. Huge help and makes a big difference with the slider.
Question
I have a simple javascript file that is a date picker, and two CSS files that came with it.
I put the code they gave me in the theme customization header/ footer scripts part,
but where do I put the js file, and the supplied css files so they work?
Nothing is working yet.
