Which Theme is For me?

Hello,
I have been using the Virtue theme for YEARS and I absolutely love it as well as your support forums. I am looking to build a website where the homepage has a revolution slider behind the menu (similar to the Ascend theme.) All other pages will have a cover image instead of the slider, but they are different on all pages. Similar layout to this website, although I want the menu in a classic horizontal shape at the top: *Login to see link
My question is- does Ascend have this capability and is it built-in or require custom coding? If not, is there another theme you would recommend?
