kad_blog featured image size

I am using the kad_blog shortcode to display the latest post in a given category at the top of my blog page. My featured image size is almost always 1200×630. However, it is being cropped and resized to 553×194. I can’t find what setting controls this or what CSS to change/add to prevent the cropping.
