Moving topbar menu lower

Hey guys,
Just putting the final touches on my new site, and am hoping to make it look as perfect as possible.
To that end, I’m hoping to get my top bar menu to be a little lower than it currently is, about half way down between it’s current position and the bottom of the white background.
The css I’m currently using (as supplied by your good selves) is;
@media (min-width: 992px) {
.kad-header-left {
width: 12%;
}
.kad-header-right {
width: 88%;
}
#nav-main ul.sf-menu a {
padding-right: 5px;
padding-left: 5px;
}
}
Would much appreciate hearing what i need to add to that to bring it down.
