Breadcrumbs – change color and font

I have another styling question. According your answers to other users I tried to add this in my css:
#kadbreadcrumbs {
color: #2F7CBF
}
#kadbreadcrumbs a {
color: #2F7CBF;
}
AND another attempt with:
#kadbreadcrumbs {
color: blue
}
#kadbreadcrumbs a {
color: blue;
}
But nothing happens. The breadcrumbs are still grey and a little bit too small.
