API License Key

Already upgraded one site from free to premium, receiving error when doing the same for two others. Receiving these two error messages when trying to save the API license key and email:
Invalid Instance ID.
Connection failed to the License Key API server. Make sure your host servers php version has the curl module installed and enabled.
All three sites are hosted by the same company, in the same account, with the same settings.
Please advise, thank you.
