Activate license in localhost

Hey guys, I just downloaded Ascend and tried activating the license on my localhost but it seems like it is not connecting. Sometimes the page keeps loading and sometimes I get this message:
This page isn’t working localhost didn’t send any data. ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE
Any clues?
