Mobile not responsive & how to stop magnify on gallery images

Hello Ben & company,
I have two questions concerning my website using Ascend Theme:
1. I’m thinking that some custom css that I used on the my website to keep the primary menu in mobile mode is now making the website not fully responsive while viewing it on Android device the page is scrollable to the right and left, while on an Apple phone with Safari the page stays within the border of the screen as it should.
2. Is there any custom CSS to disable or customize the zoom/magnify feature that appears on images in the gallery or the Ascend Image Menu? When I say customize I mean if the zoom can be modified to be slower or faster or lesser or more.
Loving this theme by the way. Thanks in advance.
