Product gallery sku

Hi
Under the large product picture I have 4 small product gallery pictures. When e.g. the blue product gallery picture is clicked it then becomes the large product picture, which is good. However, the SKU number does not change which means that the blue picture is not the picture which is put into the basket – even though it is shown to the customer as the large product picture.
I would like that when the blue product picture is clicked – then the SKU should change to the SKU for the blue picture such that the custumer can put the blue picture into the basket. Can this be done?
