Facebook and Twitter Icons

Hey guys, all of a sudden my facebook and twitter icons have disappeared from my footer, I have deleted the links on them and then put them back in but still nothing. If I put a hash in the google plus box the google plus logo does show up.
Bit confusing but i am hoping you may have come across it before and have a fix.
