Text editing issues

In both Pinnacle Premium and Ascend Premium, I have used both Visual editor and SiteOrigin Hero. Both seem to have a mind of their own. They take out blank lines I want to leave in. It’s fine as long as I don’t look at them a second time. As soon as I do, they get removed automatically. But the danger there is if I forget and come back to edit something else and look at the text as soon as I close it out, the blank lines get removed.
I seem to have had this problem before and there was a different editor, that didn’t remove blank lines or spaces that I wanted in for effect. Perhaps it was Black Studio TinyMce, but not sure that works with the Site Builder widgets.
Any ideas? I’d like the editor to do what I want and not change it for me. Thanks. /Bob
