Start Home Page Fresh

Hi,
I followed the install of the demo content, and now want to start fresh from zero. However even after deleting all pages and all media and making a new Home page with nothing on it, it’s still showing the demo content after refresh. Not sure where it’s getting the files from (I have Bluehost and I don’t want to delete anything that’ll cause issues with the theme…).
I’m new to WordPress and I’m really not clear on how to get to a clean slate.
