Re-styling Social Widgets & Blog after Upgrade to Premium

Hi,
I just upgraded this website at aacfm.org and need help fixing 2 things that went wrong in the process:
1. Fix topbar widgets hover color… how to make it white on hover for Fb & Twitter icons… and style the search box so that text typed in by users is the same dark blue as the text that reads “search.”
2. On the most recent 3 blog posts, remove the extra image that is now showing above each post.
