I am using Pinnacle Premium and I would like to create a child theme. I read the instructions in your blog and it all seemed very easy, but it did not work for me.
I believe I do not understand where wordpress files are located and where my theme files are located. My WordPress files seem to be on my host server, but my Pinnacle theme files, I believe, are sitting on my local computer in my downloads folder. I created my new child folder on my local computer’s desktop and it did not work.
I have read other internet articles about child themes which refer to using FTP to transfer files which makes me believe I am seriously confused about where my program files and theme files are located. Your advice is greatly appreciated – thank you

-Chris
