Featured products – can only display 10

Hi Ben,
I’ve been displaying anywhere from 12-30 featured products on my front page happily for over 2 years now. However, today, I added some new featured products, but the page will suddenly not display more than 10, even though I have the shortcode set to 15.
After a bit of googling, someone has come up with a suggestion, which seems to fit the problem. He advises this is a theme problem, so I am contacting you in the hope the fix makes sense and is applicable.
