installing theme has blocked wordpress

have used this theme before – no problems installing and activating until tonight – pressed activate – screen goes white and now i can’t access wp dashboard or anything – tried renaming the virtue premium directory via ftp – so that dashboard might load – but nothing – just says can’t find virtue premium on another completely white screen with no other options. what should i do – does this mean a complete new install of wordpress or is there something else i can do. can’t understand what can have gone wrong – no link cos nothing to see except a blank/white screen
