Front page display latest post

I figured a wat to the solution but is not very useful.

You can see on the main paga how I want that looks, I use Ultimate exclude category plug in to do this, but it exclude also from the blog page, that’s because I didn’t set up a front page and a blog page, I left ony disply latest post and this is a end.
Ok I would use a home and blog page, i set up everything and it works fine.
The only complain is that latest post looks not like in the exsample above.
Is there a way to change the style of the post summary in home layout?
