Custom template for Tribe event

I’m using Ascend Premium with the Modern Tribe plugins (Event Calendar, Pro, Tickets, Tickets Plus) for my events, and for most of the events the default template works well. However, I’d like to use custom templates for two events. I’ve read that all I have to do is create a page/template with Page Builder and use it for the event page. Sounds simple, but I’m at a loss as to where to begin. Could you please walk me through the steps to accomplish this?
