shiftnav with virtue 4.4.0 doesn´t work

Hi all,
I just discovered that shiftnav 1.6.2 after updating to virtue-pro 4.4.0 doesn´t show any items. When rolling back to 4.3.9 everything works well again.
Any Ideas on how to fix that? I was playing around with the menu settings for the last three hours but couldn´t find a fix until I discovered the above written.
