Importer not working / activating

Dear Kadence,
Just purchased membership yesterday and having issue activating the importer.
When following you instruction it comes up with error after uploading;
“Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again”.
Can re-try many times, however same issue and message.
Tried another method in word press “Getting Started with Virtue Premium” and got a step closer, it installed.
However, when I try to active it says;
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/solarcl2/public_html/wp-content/plugins/kadence-importer/kadence-importer.php on line 39
Can you please advise of how I can use this product and get around this issue???
