Product category slider/ mobile menu

Hi,

I have a few different questions:

1. If I want to either add an image or a slider on top of the products on the product category pages, I know I can add a shortcode for each product category. How can I make this image or slider NOT be fullwidth, but 1140px wide and 300px high, just like the image I uploaded? I want it to look like here: *Login to see link (just 1140px wide).

2. Is it possible to add another shortcode like carousel shortcode or even just an image or content below the products on the product category pages?

3. I also did some styling to my mobile menu (hover and active effects), and it works fine except for one thing: I have two individual links added to my mobile menu which do not have a link, they are not supposed to link anywhere, just have sub-items. I still want the hover and ective effect of the other menu items though, is this possible?
