TopBar Menu image?

Hi, hope you can enlighten me?
I put together the bare essentials of a site for a client who was adding content themselves. After they were done they received some free Digital Support from their local council and they added a link / topbar menu with an image as the link. I can’t see the image anywhere in the media library and I know how to add a topbar menu, I’m just unsure how they achieved it. (the “book now” button in teh topbar I mean).

Another question while I am here, if that’s OK. Is it possible to add text before or after where a portfolio populates a home page? This is mine http://www.spottypenguin.com and I was wondering if any text could be inserted?
